The Swedish Lunch
during
The World Economic Forum

since 2015

Each year, 1 250 world leaders attend the Swedish Lunch — a private, non-profit gathering hosted by Marcus and Alexander Widegren. Our mission is to offer a neutral, welcoming space where leaders can meet as people first, beyond politics, titles, and formal agendas.

Held during the World Economic Forum week, the Swedish Lunch is funded by the hosts, partners, and voluntary contributions from guests. We remain strictly non-profit and non-political, dedicated to fostering global connectivity, dialogue, and inspiration.

Our belief in the power of technology, sustainability, and human collaboration has grown into a broader platform: Global Conversations, focused on creating informal spaces for world leaders to meet and connect.

The Swedish Lunch will take place at Schatzalp Hotel in Davos on 21 January 2026, from 11:30 to 15:30, during the World Economic Forum.

The event is private by invitation only.
